Click to expand. The primary goal is to deliver the highest quality of information to the general public. This means that whatever you read or download from this site has the highest amount of accuracy and quality available. Our secondary goal is to establish a rail-community around this site and other train and train-sim related sites. Our final goal is to have a close relationship with all train fans, and thus creating a real bonded and strong community. The Blackrail site sprung to life, long before the now gone MSTS.LX.RO; which itself was intended to be a high quality, high-grade Romanian MSTS site. The very first add-ons were published by the site's founder, namely MarianD. We now remember the first truly good models such as the LDH70 and LDH45 whose 3D was supplied by Bakter from train-sim.hu, the first LDE/DA cabviews in Romania, the 1st LDH cabview for the now old 3d from George's Takev railwaymodeling.com, and the first and only S series wagons in Romania. Also, Cristian "underwater_dreamworld" Bardas supplied the first top-notch ENG and WAG file settings, with reconfigured lights (first AI and reversed mode lights in Romania) for the DA, EA, DHA, DHB and DHC locomotives and all Romanian wagons. In 22 November 2007, MarianD proposed RTS-Romanian Trainz studio to join-up the two communities, to create one big-experienced object focused group. In mid April 2008, the free file hosting site, LX.RO had some issues with the hosting service, the servers were out until September 2008. In the mean time, the add-ons hosted by Filefront had direct links to them, so the users could still download them. From October 6th to November 30th 2008, projects like the new LDH125, the Railcar class 77, the Railshunter LDH18 were launched, along with other Romanian Add-on's, like the higly-anticipated EA Sounds. This joint venture worked flawlessly until December 2008 when Negru 13, RTS's admin decided due to obvious reasons to end the seemingly endless fight between MSTS team train-sim.ro and MSTS.LX.RO members - Catalin N., Krupp, and MarianD. On December 8, a day which will remain in infamy, Negru 13 decided to close-up the MSTS branch of the forum, witch left the MSTS fans with no place to expand their thoughts. As a direct measure, MarianD bought a full domain, and opened a new fledged ling stand-alone site, which is now Blackrail.ro.
MarianD, started MSTS.LX.RO after prolonged arguments with train-sim.ro leadership, Mihai and Lucian. After he launched in cooperation with Cristian Bardas (ENG's) the LDH70/45 (Bakter's 3d model) pack together with the LDH125 Pack (George's Takev 3d model), MarianD decided to Help BalkanRail to develop his EGM locomotive. Therefore, he asked Catalin N. (from Giurgiu - location of an EGM depot), to help the development of the EGM. From there on, MarianD and Catalin N. became close friends, with only one desire, to produce high quality content, with science, ethics and passion on their minds. On October 31th 2008 MSTS team which activated then on RTS, is joined by Krupp, which passed some tests (the repaint of the 356 LDH125) as requested by MarianD. Shortly after, the RTS scandal broke through, and the Blackrail site was born. The management of the site was passed from MarianD to Krupp, and then the Blackrail Team created the Blackrail Community, through which the Blackrail Team spotted the person who became the fourth member of the team, Nick. On February 3th 2009, the Blackrail team reaches to number five. From here on the history becomes the present...
Because all Blackrail members came from train-sim.ro it's obvious that an explanation is required to understand the motivation behind the actions. MarianD left train-sim.ro community because of the fights generated within the LDH70/45 development process. Krupp, experienced a similar problem after showing the community that a MSTS 3d for class 50 prototype is easily tap able by Balkan if he only wanted to do so. A massive banning spree and account disabling was issued, regardless of the important facts showed, and stand-alone member value. Catalin N. left train-sim by his own initiative, considering the fact that train-sim community is unable to produce good add-ons in correlation with the international and national presumed status. He then rightfully deemed the place "all-talk and no work" and proceeded to leave, and he never looked back since. Nick considers that train-sim.ro desperately needs high quality people to produce a higher standard product than is currently available on their site, but such people are only attracted by other passionate workers. Considering the opinions and unfortunate experiences of the Blackrail members induced mostly by train-sim figures, our relationship with train-sim.ro is very poor, this at least while Dionis and Mihai, the newly appointed managers of the train-sim are the soul leaders of their community. After some contacts with RoLF team, through open dialog the Blackrail Community tried to establish a new opening for the communities, but soon died out by the same reasons of envy. The need for a solid educational environment, to embrace the hobby of train simmers driven by us, has brought in front of us an thick wall, a new expanding current of fake communities based on scandals, created by closed minded and spoiled children, that steals addons or resources, breaks copyright laws and offends members of long established communities, and even tries to pose as partners with them. This marks our journey. Regarding other foreign sites, our position can be debated.
